H-Mart is a Korean grocery store with some of the best selections of fresh produce, meats, fresh fish, and everything in-between. The store is so well-organized and clean. Even those with OCD can appreciate how everything is presented. One of my favorite sections is all of their banchans, you can find a variety of Korean side-dishes like kimchi, pickled garlic, and my favorite stir-fried fishcake. They are also known for their pre-marinated meats like bulgogi and pork belly. Great for an easy meal at home! On the hunt for fresh fish? They have a great selection here, including fish that they keep alive in the tank. Don't miss out on their ready-made meals like bentos, kimbap, and even fried fish. These pre-made meals go on 1+1 (buy one get one free) at 7pm.

Hmart in Pearl-city were the old Foodland supermarket was has really improved the store and types of items carried. The fish department displays are well kept and stocked with live fish tanks holding lobsters, Dungeness crab, Abalone and King clam. The produce department is very well stocked and displays have fresh produce not wilted and bruised or rotten fruits. The can goods they carry so much variety of products.

I discovered H Mart Pearl City recently. I LOVE this place! There is so much things to purchase here. I loved their noodle and gyoza selection. They had a huge area for just those two things. Lots of different types of snacks as well. Their seafood section reminds me of going to Seafood City. You can purchase things live. My daughter had fun watching the crabs and fish move. They had a wide selection of meats to barbecue. I didnt see much employees there. The cashier was friendly though. If you are ever in the area, check out H Mart.

Ordered boneless fried chicken to go from Dada Chicken. Made to ordered so had to wait about 20 minutes not too long sine we went after lunch time. 6 medium-large pieces, 1 scoop rice, salad, pickled vegetables. It nice and crispy, not salty, good tasting. Didn't need the dipping sauce. The dining area was clean. Also ordered bulgogi Ramen from Ttebokki. It was delicious and not salty. It's a big portion so I had leftovers.

Had to make a food run because I miss Korea and the food. Got done frozen crab to marinate, veggies to make Japchae and some brisket. I loaded up on Korean brands of coffee that I fell in love with. I wanted everything! Prices are definitely higher. I walked out with $154 less than I went in! Oh well it's the price we pay.

A clean solid H-Mart with a good amount of food court selections. The H-Mart was very clean and had lots of my favorite selections from seaweed to turtle chips to ramen. The freshly made food is discounted at 5pm. So stop by at around 4:45pm if you want to take home some half priced dinner! That's when they start tagging the items as 50% off to sell them all before closing. I even saw staff come pick up some. They had a large variety of options left when I came 5 minutes before 5pm to pick up something for a late night snack They also have a food court section. I had the spicy rice cakes and spicy cold noodles from Elim. The kind staff were nice enough to explain their whole menu to us even though I already knew what I wanted. But it's the thought that counts!! The food was good and super affordable for Korean food in Hawaii! Tl;dr - great h-mart, clean and has a food court with affordable Korean food that tastes just as good as any other dine in restaurant! (At least ELIM was)

I prefer the Kakaako location more. I like that they have two levels at Kakaako with the food court being upstairs. The food court is really small at this location and it's sectioned off to the left side of the store. They have all your Korean favorite foods here. They have produce, meat, seafood, snacks, drinks and a whole bunch of different ramen. They have live seafood in tanks. I saw Maine lobster, Dungeness crab and fish for reasonable prices. I was looking for live blue crabs for a while, but couldn't find them anywhere. It was just my luck that they had them here on this day, but I couldn't get them as I was on my way to dinner. They would have perished in the hot car. Dead seafood is no bueno. If anyone knows a place that they sell live blue crabs, please let me know. Thanks.

Impressive! I was expecting something in the realm of 99 Ranch but was pleasantly surprised. I was on the hunt for Moo Shu wrappers and had Googled where to find them. HMart was one of three locations within the Aiea/Pearl City vicinity so I drove over to the shopping center in Pearl City and started my search. Parking was a breeze. This huge store is next door to Don Quixote in the old Foodland location and parking is shared and plentiful. Aside from the out of his mind half-naked homeless character waving his arms at Mr. Nobody the entire front of the store was clean and tidy. Walking into the store I noticed a myriad of snack options in languages other than English but if the picture/labels were indicative of what was inside the person buying them would be in for a treat but I was on a mission and would not be distracted. I'm assuming I looked as lost as I felt because a very young man looked up from his shelf stocking and asked if he could help. I told him was I was looking for and by the look on his face he was clueless but nonetheless he was determined to help me. Walking to another aisle and another associate he asked if she knew where my wrappers would be stocked. She pointed us in another direction advising if they weren't there they were out of stock. Last hope was the frozen section but while there were potsticker wraps, lumpia wraps and egg roll wraps there were no Moo Shu wrappers. So, either they were out of stock or it's not a stocking item. I left with nothing in hand and sent a text to Paul C, our Yelp Mayor of Chinatown for help. I'm actually looking forward to returning to HMart for an hour of perusal of those inviting aisles. It's a really well maintained store and unlike its neighbor it's not cluttered with too close rows of product.
